Sojourn Group

One record.
Three instruments.

We build software for people whose lives cross borders, and who have to prove it. Every product reads from the same thing: where you actually were, and when.

A week in Amsterdam, then home to Dubai. One journey, three different questions. How many days did it cost against a residency limit? If you fly for a living, how many hours did it add to your licence? And when you want to buy a home, who lends to someone with no settled address?

Sojourn Tax Residency

Every country counts a day differently. The UK ignores the day you leave. The US weights three years at once. Sojourn applies each country's own rule to your own movements, and produces a record built to be handed to a tax authority: checksummed, signed, verifiable by anyone who receives it.

Sojourn LogbookIn development

Every authority defines a night hour differently, and command time twice over. Most logbooks pick one definition and hope you never move country. Sojourn stores the flight as it happened and computes each authority's columns at export, so the same record files correctly with the FAA and with EASA.

Keeping your hours is only half the job. The same record runs your flight-time limitations — duty, rest, and the cumulative limits — against the authority you fly under, so you know not just what you have flown, but whether you are still legal to fly it.

Who flies under them

One record, filed correctly wherever your licence sits.

A few of the majors under each authority, to show the shape of it. Sojourn is not limited to them — if you fly under one of these authorities you can use it, whatever the operator: airline, cargo, charter, corporate, air ambulance, survey or flight school. The authority governs your logbook, not your employer.

Sojourn FinancialPlanned

Work in one country, live in another, and financing quietly stops working. Lenders want a settled address, a local salary, and years of history in one place. People who move for a living have none of those on paper, and get refused for a home they could comfortably afford — in the country they work in, and in the one they came from.

It is the same gap the rest of Sojourn exists to close: your life is documented, just not in the form anyone will accept. We are working on it, and we will say more when there is something to say.

early design; nothing to announce yet

The record is the product.

A day counter that can't produce a credible document is a calculator. Every Sojourn export carries the filer's identity, each country's rule and review date, the source of every entry, and a SHA-256 checksum computed over the whole record.

Change one character and the checksum breaks. Anyone who receives the file, advisor or inspector, can confirm it in a browser. No account, no upload, nothing sent anywhere.

Your records are not our data.
We built it so we couldn't read them.

Sojourn Tax keeps your history on your device and nowhere else. Sojourn Logbook, where losing the record would cost a career, keeps an encrypted copy — sealed on your device, with a key that never reaches us. Not a policy we could revise later. An architecture: there is nothing for us to hand over, and nothing for anyone to take.
